Important notes:
- This calculator provides estimates of earth electrode resistance and, importantly, the reduction in earth resistance achieved when using LPI’s RESLO and SRIM PLUS “earth enhancing compounds” (EEC). It provides the estimated number of 20 kg bags of EEC required.
- This calculator is not intended to be used to produce an engineered earthing design. For such designs, please contact LPI.
- “No EEC” assumes relatively undisturbed native soil around the electrode, i.e., a driven rod or horizontal electrode with compacted soil.
